In a historic moment for India, siblings S. Jaanvi and S. Anish from Chennai have been conferred with the International Global Child Prodigy Award 2025, an honour that recognises exceptional young talents across the world. Their remarkable journey, combining record-breaking achievements with social service, has made them inspiring role models for children everywhere.
Rising Star: S. Jaanvi
From her early years, S. Jaanvi has displayed an extraordinary blend of talent and determination. A student at D.A.Ve Baba Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School, Velachery, she has earned an astounding 20 world records in fields such as silambam, yoga, poetry recitation, and academics.
Her name is listed in the India Book of Records, Asia Book of Records, Everest Book of Records (Nepal), World Book of Records (London), and Guinness World Records. Her ability to perform silambam blindfolded, recite numbers and alphabets at lightning speed, and demonstrate yoga poses with remarkable skill has left audiences amazed.
But Jaanvi’s achievements go beyond records. She is also known as a young social activist, contributing to initiatives such as tree planting, beach cleanups, organ donation awareness, and food distribution for the needy. For these efforts, she has been honoured with numerous awards including the National Achiever Pride Award, World Peace Leader Recognition in Mexico, and the Young Ambassador Award by ICRA Foundation.
The India Post issued a commemorative stamp in her name, and she has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the University of New Jerusalem—a rare honour for someone of her age.
Trailblazer: S. Anish
Her elder brother, S. Anish, has also built an equally impressive legacy. Currently studying at the same school, Anish has secured more than 40 world records, with two prestigious Guinness World Records to his name.
His Guinness honours include completing a 10 km sprint and solving a 3×3 Rubik’s Cube in record time. His other recognitions include the Bharat Ratna Award (Face of Group, New Delhi), the Hero of the Society Award, the Pride of Tamil Nadu Award, and the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Award. Like his sister, he too has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the University of New Jerusalem.
Anish’s passion for science, environmental awareness, and community service sets him apart. He has led efforts in tree plantation, resilience awareness, water conservation campaigns, and beach cleanups. Instead of celebrating birthdays with gifts, he gifts trees to his friends and relatives, encouraging sustainable practices.
He has also conducted three scientific experiments which are currently under review with government authorities, and his dream is to become a doctor dedicated to helping the underprivileged.
A Proud Family, A Proud Nation
The achievements of Jaanvi and Anish are deeply rooted in the values instilled by their parents—P. Siva, a senior bank manager, and P. Nithya, a teacher, social worker, and newsreader. Their encouragement has played a crucial role in shaping the young achievers’ commitment to both excellence and compassion.
Global Recognition
Winning the International Global Child Prodigy Award 2025 is not just a personal milestone for Jaanvi and Anish—it is a proud moment for India. Their achievements highlight the immense potential of young talents who combine creativity, hard work, and social responsibility to create a better future.
With their names etched in record books across the globe, the Chennai siblings have proven that age is no barrier to greatness.
