His inclination towards acting and cinema began early in life. As a student, he actively took part in school and college plays, cultural events, and stage performances. These early experiences played a crucial role in shaping his artistic vision and confidence. Despite limited resources and personal responsibilities, he made the bold decision to move to Mumbai to pursue his dream, fully aware of the struggles that lay ahead.

In Mumbai, KD Sahni KD’s dedicated himself to learning and self-improvement. Theatre work and professional acting training helped him sharpen his craft, while countless auditions tested his patience and resilience. His efforts bore fruit in 2021 with the release of the feature film “Kabaad – The Coin,” which brought him recognition in the industry. This was followed by his performance in the Jio Cinema web project “Good Bye Mamma” in 2024, where his portrayal of a tantric character was well received by viewers.

Beyond acting, KD Sahni KD’s also stepped into direction, showcasing his creative depth. He worked as both actor and director in “Salam-e-Diwali”

As a filmmaker, KD Sahni KD’s prefers grounded, socially connected narratives and believes strongly in giving opportunities to new and emerging talent. Looking ahead, 2026 is expected to be an important year for him, with the comedy-action film “Pappu Police Wala” set for a theatrical release and the suspense-driven web series “Vishwasghaat” scheduled for OTT platforms.

Despite his active presence in Mumbai, KD Sahni KD’s remains closely connected to his Bihar roots. Elements of regional culture, language, and social reality are often reflected in his work.
