By The sister of a property dealer killed in Delhi’s Kalkaji has alleged that more people were involved in the assault than have been detained so far.
Police have detained three people, including two women, in the case.
The deceased, Manjeet Singh, was allegedly attacked during a dispute over construction work at a building.
His brother Dilbag Singh was also injured.
Police are examining CCTV footage as the investigation continues.
According to police, the incident stemmed from a property-related dispute between residents of a building in southeast Delhi’s Kalkaji.
Police said an altercation broke out after residents on the third floor objected to ongoing construction work at the building.
Several people are alleged to have surrounded and assaulted Manjeet Singh during the altercation.
Police have registered a case of culpable homicide in connection with the incident.
Three people, including two women, have been detained so far, according to police.
The deceased’s sister has separately alleged that additional people, including a relative, were involved in the assault.
Police said they are examining CCTV footage from the building and surrounding areas to identify others who may have been involved.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
