By Samsung has opened pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold8 in India at a starting price of Rs 1,79,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant, following its unveiling at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22.
The 12GB+512GB model is priced at Rs 1,99,999, while the 16GB+1TB model costs Rs 2,39,999. Open sales begin August 8.
The Z Fold8 has a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X foldable display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
It features a dual 50MP rear camera setup, with a wide-angle lens offering OIS and 2x optical quality zoom, along with a 50MP ultra-wide lens.
A 4,800mAh battery supports up to 63 per cent charge in around 30 minutes via 45W wired charging, along with 20W wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare.
At 201 grams, it is Samsung’s lightest Z Fold model yet, with an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 or an instant bank discount of Rs 9,000 available.
